My Valentine, My Forever Love

Do you remember the first time that you kissed me? I don't know how I stood there. It was a miracle that my knees did not buckle and completely betray me. Had your arms not been wrapped around me, I would surely have dropped to the floor like the anchor of a ship falling hard to the bottom of the ocean. It was a moment of magic. It was a moment of pure love. It was a moment long-awaited, full of thundering anticipation for the one thing I wanted most. You.

Whatever comes to me in my life, I will remain grateful that we shared that moment, and so many others which followed after that night. I have never loved anyone the way I love you.
